You will not find a wider variety of options than North Lake Tahoe — resorts and hotels through to inns and bed and breakfasts. Nearly every race we run is within thirty minutes of Tahoe City or Truckee.

  • Camp at the start line

    Sugar Pine Point State Park (Lake Tahoe Triathlon) and Donner Memorial State Park (Donner Lake Triathlon) both have campgrounds. They book out months ahead for race weekends, so if you want to wake up already at the venue, book early.

  • Tahoe City and the west shore

    Closest to the Tahoe City events, Burton Creek, the Tahoe Off-Road Triathlon and the start of the Great Trail Race. Small inns, lodges and rentals, and a short drive to almost everything.

  • Truckee

    The base for Big Chief, the Truckee Half, the Tahoe 100, Donner and the Tail Wagger. Hotels and rentals in and around a historic downtown you will want to eat in afterwards.

  • Kings Beach and Incline Village

    North and east shore. Handy for Run to the Beach and the Sand Harbor events, and the shortest drive from Reno-Tahoe airport.
