Big Blue Adventure owns and operates twenty-two of its own events. The rest of the year this crew is producing, permitting, timing and keeping people safe on the water at other people’s. Corporate events, commercials, film and special events. No project is too big or too small.

Services
Production management
Twenty-five years of production and operations management. Communication, meetings, contracts, crew and equipment movements, remote locations, problem solving.
Permitting and land use
USDA Forest Service — Tahoe, Eldorado, Humboldt-Toiyabe, Willamette, the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit. California and Nevada State Parks. The Tahoe Conservancy. Placer, El Dorado, Nevada and Washoe counties. Caltrans, NDOT, CHP and NHP.
Water safety
Certified divers, personal watercraft, and years of alpine cold-water experience covering triathlons, open-water swims, kayak and SUP events and special projects.
Race timing
Professional timing for running, triathlon, cycling, paddling, swimming and skiing. Finish-line systems and results, run by people who direct races themselves.
Location scouting
Film, television, commercial, video and print. Unique and remote Tahoe locations on file, all four seasons, with every permit and permission handled.
Crew and equipment
Production managers, assistants, photographers, camera, sound, grips and gaffers. Generators, tents, trailers, sound, grip and lighting, timing and truss.
