Adventure racing

Bike, paddle, run and navigate. The discipline the company is named after.

It started with the Tahoe Big Blue Adventure Race in North Lake Tahoe in 2002 — the event the whole company took its name from. Soon after came the Big Blue Adventure Racing Series across California and Nevada: Ocean Blue, Silver Sage, Red Tail and Tahoe Big Blue.

We have also produced endurance 24 and 36-hour adventure races — Oakridge 24, Santa Monica 24, Santa Barbara 24, Lake Tahoe 24 and 36. Teams run from solo through four people, all-male, all-female or coed, and the sprint course is deliberately built so a first-timer can finish it and get hooked. Most of them do.
